Ultimately the best way to measure my ski progress is against the others in training sessions and on competition days. Water conditions vary too much to accurately record improvements in time. We do have an ergo machine at the club though that we use to record times over various distances. These (and some river routes I invented) are recorded below.

Tallebudgera Creek Bridge and Back
This table measures how much time it takes me to head inland to the bridge that I turn around. Kind of hard to explain. Tidal, wind and environmental differences can be stark
| Date | Time Up | Time Back | Max Heart Rate | Avg Heart Rate | Comments |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 19/03/2010 | 40:00 | 1.11:50 | 156 | 128 | Reasonably benign conditions |
| 08/04/2010 | 30.47 | Drills Only | 156 | 130 | Tide behind me, no wind |
