Here are some swims I have done over the course of this journey. I have tried to maintain some consistency of conditions to track improvement. The conditions of open water swimming always vary, so I have commented on the conditions of the day where appropriate.
400m Swim For Surf Life Saving Proficiency
This is my annual time for the 400m swim which is required by Surf Life Saving Australia, to ensure you have the minimum fitness level to patrol the beaches. The cut off time is a generous 9 minutes

Stroke Count - 50m Length
This measures the number of strokes I do over a 50m lap. Obviously the less strokes, the more efficient the swim.

1km Swimming Time Trial
This table shows the 100m split times for a 1km time trial swim. Note, the time trial is conducted in the middle of a 3km squad swim.
